Nevada Attorney Dalton Hooks

Attorney Dalton Hooks represents clients in connection with employment related disputes in State and Federal Courts and before administrative agencies. He also advises clients in various areas of employment law with an emphasis on workers’ compensation and occupational safety and health.

Mr. Hooks has more than 30 years of experience in occupational safety and workers’ compensation law in Nevada. He is licensed to practice before all Nevada State and Federal Courts. His unique background and training make him a knowledgeable and effective advocate.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Hooks worked for the Nevada State Industrial Insurance System, which, at the time, was the agency responsible for providing Workers’ Compensation benefits to employees throughout the state. This experience has helped him earn the recognition of the Nevada State Bar as one of the few Nevada attorneys designated as Workers’ Compensation Law Specialists.

When the state began to allow third-party days to administer claims under the Nevada Industrial Insurance Act, Mr. Hooks worked for Nevada OSHA as a compliance officer and trainer. Ultimately, he served as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Nevada OSHA consultation and training section, overseeing its operations statewide.
